Daily: December 11-15 The Believer's Bullet-Proof Vest
Christians in Paul's day needed a spiritual sword, shield, and helmet. Do God's warriors in 2004 need a Kevlar bullet-proof vest, infrared night goggles, and an M-16? Are the weapons of heaven still as powerful, and the defenses as impregnable? Be sure to tune in for five powerful, concluding messages in the Voice of Prophecy's study of Ephesians!

|Dec 10th With Christ in the Desert
The San tribe is a very remote tribe of Bushmen living in the Kalahari Desert. A few generations ago, you might have wondered how anyone could ever reach them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. On today’s program, you will meet a man who has gone to the Kalahari Desert, lived among the Bushmen and helped them build their own churches. This is a story you have to hear to believe.
I N M E M O R I U M
Dear Friends & Members of Our Church:
Sometime on the morning of Thursday, November 30th, Ethel fell in her home. When she didn’t answer the phone Friday morning, Lorraine Burros drove over to see her and discovered her unconscious on the floor. A volunteer to the very end, Ethel and Lorraine were scheduled to fold the bulletins together that morning at the church.
Ethel was taken to HMNMH Emergency, where she was evaluated and admitted. It was determined that she had suffered a massive stroke, and was kept warm and comfortable until her passing this past Monday morning, December 4. She was 99 years old.
Though childless, Ethel was a matriarch in our church community. Faithful in death as in life, she chose to donate her body to science via Loma Linda University, and her assets have been left to the church. She was always in Sabbath School, when able to attend, and always careful to listen for Bible content in the sermons. She stood as a great example, and always sought to serve our God.
Ethel will be greatly missed.
Special Thanks to all of you who spent time with her in her last years, and in her last days. Your loving care is why Santa Clarita is a great church family to be a part of! Let yet another generation of caring people arise to look after our elders.
A Memorial Service is planned for Monday Evening, the 18th of December at 7:30 pm, here in our sanctuary.
